Good selection of beers, spirits and for ales they've got fat yak which is always a winner in my book. Went there for a quiz night, and although the screen wasn't working still an enjoyable night. Convenient location and good place to have an evening drink.

$15 steak and beer special, can't get any better than that. The perfect place to head to with a group of friends for an atmosphere where you can actually talk!!

One of the few bars in Manly that doesn't get mad busy. Good to be able to sit down and have a chat without having to yell at each other. Wednesday and Friday night $15 steak and beers is a winner for me. Wednesday night is quiz night and Friday night often has live music. Good place to be able to relax with friends.

Good value places. The usual Friday night destination during the summer for post-race steak and beer for $15. Generally, the medium-rare steaks here are very good. Beer is good value. Sometimes, they have live music on, which is usually great toe-tapping stuff, but can be a bit too loud and can't quite hear what the person on the opposite side of the table is saying. When there is a function on or Novotel particularly busy, the place can get quite full, but at it's best when a bit quieter and you can find somewhere to sit.

I come here regularly for the $15 Steak and Beer special every wednesday night. The steak is very good quality. There is also a weekly quiz on Wednseday nights where you can win drinks and food. Great fun and very challenging too!!
