Dessange Paris

I went to the DESSANGE PARIS salon at Paddington last Friday as recommendation of a friend. I spoke with the hairdresser and he recommended me to do the classic balayage which comes closer to the roots. I trusted him and listened to his recommendation. The colour came up too blonde, too much blonde and not much contrast. Anyway, I thought I would leave it for few weeks and it would may look better. I went home and notice that my hair on the top was breaking up badly and I spent the whole weekend applying protein and coconut oil to try to fix it a little. Today I called them asking to see someone regarding what could be done to fix my hair as it was falling down badly. I spoke with the hairdresser and he was arrogant telling me that my hair it was already damaged and it was my fault it was was falling down. The only thing he offered it was only one session treatment as a "free" treatment for my hair, and it was the only thing they could do. I said I would pay for few more treatments myself even that I thought it was the professional's fault, who did not let me know his opinion about my "damage" hair . If he was a good hairdresser as he is claiming to be, why he did not advise me before hand that balayage would break up my whole hair? Why he still doing it? They claim they are "international" hairdresses and they know more than the Australian's ones. Anyway, I will have to look for other places to have special treatment for my hair as they only offered one session of treatment and I've been told by them that I needed at least 5 for it to starting to look a little less bad. In resume, I payed almost $600 dollars for service plus retail for my hair and it got totally damaged because of the hairdresser careless. I went there to find a solution for the problem but ended up being asked to leave by the owner who stood by the professional and did not care about the results of my hair. The owner is a very French arrogant man who did not care about his clients. The only thing I wanted was a solution for the problem. I am only writing here because I would like people to know that this salon's professionals do not care about the client. It would not cost anything for them to treat my hair and make a unsatisfied customer a little less unhappy. I am very disappointed. Please, do not go there. You will regret it. They are double more expensive than other famous salons. Think twice please otherwise you will ended up like me. The champagne is great, the welcome is fantastic but you really know a business when things like that happen. Good luck.
