Came in late one day with a friend to get some burgers for dinner and upon returning home with the food, both my friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality. I got a beef burger with egg, cheese and onion and my vegetarian friend got the vegetarian burger. I was actually surprised by how tasty the burger was, after expecting regular fish and chip shop quality, it was actually really good. Upon speaking to my friend, wondering whether the vege burger was good, usually not done well at a place that predominantly does meat products, but she was surprised at how good it was as well and we both enjoyed our burgers. Will be coming back

Lost Customer I have been buying chicken here, at least once a week or more since the store opened. The food is very cheap, yet comes in generous servings and is swiftly prepared. I have often thought to myself how much I would miss it if it closed down or if I moved away. I almost always get the same thing, a chicken roll, breast, skin off, with no mayonnaise. Recently when I ordered I noticed the staff member was preparing thigh for the roll. I asked for breast. He said it was 'too late'. I insisted very politely that I would really prefer breast. He maintained that I didn't ask for breast and it could not be changed. When I mentioned that I had been getting the same thing for 5+ years (many of the staff know my order, though they have changed over the years) he said "I have never seen you in here before and I work here every day." When I insisted that I was a regular he was dismissive, argued with me, and said I had 'ordered wrong'. When I asked to speak to a manager he explained that he was the manager and walked out the back, effectively ending our conversation. I tried phoning later and asked to speak to the owner, who as it turns out was this same man. Unfortunately I could not understand him on the phone so I am unsure as to whether he offered an apology. His tone though was very defensive. I should say up until this point the staff had always been very polite and friendly. They have however, lost a customer over this, and one who used to recommend it to everyone he could. So I warn any customers, the owner here does not value your business.
