Fine Fish

Had Fish and Chips here on Saturday afternoon for 2 people: round trip = $45 bucks. Probably the most expensive take away fish and chips in Sydney. Anyway fish was ok, but after eating most of it discovered a moving bug in the salad. Obviously did not expect that, and told the manager about it. His response: "so what do you want me to do about". Completely unapologetic, like it was my problem. Rubbish. I asked for a refund on the my meal, but was offered store credit. Why would I want to come back to a place that charges $20 bucks for simple fish and chips. What nonsense, then he said "well at least it wasn't a cockroach" and then my all time favourite "how do I know the bug didn't fly in from the outside"!! Forget these guys, they're arrogant and don't deserve the business, my main problem was the attitude. A simple apology and an offer of some gratitude would have done the trick.

Haven't been there for ages until last week when we were very pleasantly surprised with the new menu. Beautifully prepared palmers island mullaway, scallop congee. - sadly my other fav Paradise Prawns are not on the menu
