Men's change room questionable. Toilets were disgusting. One was blocked. Won't be going back there any time soon.

Agree with everything here. Service is appalling. Really poor. Equipment is ok. Other branches such as the Collins Street or Doncaster clubs leave this one for dead. It's fine for training, just don't expect any friendly staff or trainers and staff to even follow their own rules like putting weights back or not slamming their own weights down etc. A great example of how NOT to run a gym!

If you can get past the rude, unfriendly and uninterested staff this gym is actually quite good. Loads of equipment (especially cardio) and a good, central location. It's a shame that they seem to only employ people with zero customer service for the front desk though.

You have to experience this gym yourself. Its a unique. It is a student gym, the culture is naturally different but I didn't quite expect it to be that different - was an eye opener. It should be renamed as RMIT gym. The gym etiquette is very different. Its normal for peple to spit all over the place. It is normal for someone to put their feet on the edge of bench which you are using probably an indirect way of signalling that they are next on the queue. It is normal for someone to snatch your weights (without asking) when you are taking a break between sets. It is normal for people to work out in the steam room/sauna. It is normal to see people talk on the mobile or play games on their mobile while using the some of the machines. It is normal for people to walk in and out of the group fitness class half way through the class. It is normal not to have aircond in the gym. It is normal to shower in cold water (per the staff at reception). It is normal for people to wear undies into the unisex steam room or sauna (regardless of signs advising people to wear bathers). It is normal for people to chat or sing in the showers (can you imagine how noisy it is when there are 12 people showering at one go?) It is a very unique experience. Personally, I would avoid this gym. It's over crowded, its dirty, weights are all scattered all across the gym (one can even find weights in the sauna or steam room or toilet!) & there is no hot water in the showers. They are enough to put me off
