This is my neighbourhood cafe and i'm really luck for it. it has the best ricotta hotcakes with strawberries I've ever had, with a generous serve of maple syrup. the roast pork sandwich here amazing with bits of crackling and shredded apple. THe 7 hour lamb sandwich is also very good or the big breakfast. This place has a better standard of food to Bills and probably less of a crowd too. Unfortunately the place is rather small and there is an inevitable wait on the weekends. Would advise going early, before 10, if you want to avoid waiting.

This place can get busy so get in early. Big size portions for money compared to other inner city cafe. A little bit off the main streets, but well worth it to get away from the bustle of the main streets.

We walked by and stopped in. They were busy, but had bench seats available. The waitress just glanced at us and kept running around us. There was a guy standing behind the counter talking to someone, but he just looked at us a second, too, despite the fact that we were standing directly in front of him. So we stood in the middle of the place for a full five minutes and no one spoke a word to us. Extremely awkward. We left. Had breakfast at Piccadilly's down on Oxford, which was great for our wounded egos because they were very friendly and everything was delicious. Personally, my impression of Flat White Cafe is just snobbish.
