3/3 Never really shopped at Toowong Village before, but went in to Fruity Capers Deli to grab some chorizo, as they stock the best brand. Popped in to the Fruity Capers Fruit and Veg while we were there and was amazed by the beautiful, fresh quality, huge range of local and exotic produce and astonished by the prices. Had I bought the same amounts of fruit and veg at any of the nearby Coles/Woolworths, it would have cost about $75-$80 - at Fruity Capers the quality was at least twice as good and it cost $50!! The volume we bought for that much would not even fit in my decent sized fruit & veg crisper! Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, happily answering questions I had about the produce. Very impressive, and the deli next door rivals Rosalie Gourmet.
