Garfish Crows Nest

We had breaky here it was lovely and freshly made to order. the tea and coffee was great and the staff friendly .the surroundings are very pleasant and easy to relax and just enjoy your time there.I would recommend this rest for Breakfast lunch or dinner.

Was at Garfish with my customer and had the fresh and tastiest fish that I eat in Sydney. Great Service and excellent place for a fish lover. Dory and french fries was the best !!

Excellent food and service. Good range of wines and fish. Was a little loud, but was very busy at the time. Will be returning.

For someone who doesn't really like seafood, I LOVE Garfish! It's the default option for my group of friends when we catch up, as it has never disappointed us. At Crows Nest, the service is friendly enough without being over the top, and they allow BYO which is great to keep costs down a little. In trying to be more adventurous in my food choices, I always order the barramundi or swordfish, which are not too fishy....and delicious. I love the flexibility of the menu - you choose your type of fish, style of cooking, and side order, just to your liking. There's also an a la carte menu, and the snapper pie has always been given the big thumbs up. There's 2 hours free parking in the council car park close by which is worth knowing, as on street parking can be as scarce as hen's teeth in Crows Nest. There are lots of little bars, eg. Small Bar, nearby for a pre or post meal drink if you feel like extending the evening. For a nice meal with friends that's not too over the top (we usually end up spending around $50 pp for a meal, sides and wine), Garfish has always delivered the goods!

I NEVER normally leave reviews however, this place was so bad I had to warn people. The service was terrible and our waitress was VERY rude, unhelpful and sarcastic. We ordered our meals and when they came out they were small and not filling at all. My fiance had to eat again when he got home because the size of his fish was so small. In addition, the meals were way over priced for what you got! We love eating out and do so a lot and never, ever have we come across such poor service, small portion sizes or poor quality for money. DON'T BOTHER GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!
