The Green Park hotel is an institution in Darlinghurst and one of the first pubs I went to when first arriving in Sydney years ago. It used to be my local when I worked just down the road and was a nice spot for a casual inner city drink with work colleagues. The Green park seems mostly in its original state, very dark and sultry with a few odd smells here and there, and a back room complete with pool tables. Its popular with locals and Sunday afternoons are standing room only. The Green Park does not serve food though so either top up before you go or enjoy a meal from one of the many dining establishments close by.

Guys, can you ask the DJ on Sundays to TURN DOWN THE MUSIC!!! Man, we're not at a dance party and if you look around at the general age of the crowd (ie we're not twinks) most of us are loyal long term customers that are there to catch up with mates for a few Sunday beers. Please dont turn this into another Beresford, keep the music down and I am sure those that have abandoned the pub will come back. Our group is heading elsewhere until you do. Seriously guys, maybe get the DJ's to take their headphones off and listen to the volume we are all subjected to! Disappointed...............

This is what I would still refer to as an "old school" pub which is refreshing to see after most of them have gone through massive upgrades. There's a great feel in here, good beer selection, nice option of sitting out front or in the little courtyard and very friendly service. All good.

Probably the worst service in the city. Have a problem with one of their machines. No help from staff + I lost my money so they didn't want to reimburse it.
