H. G. Humphrys - Betta Home Living - Fridges and Electricals

I recently went into the store with my mum as she wanted to return a present that she brought as a Mother's Day Gift. There were two issues with the item itself. 1st she asked for a 4 egg poacher and they item that they sold her did only 3 eggs. 2ndly the person she brought it for, also brought one for themselves. My mum wasn't aware that they did not allow refunds but the man who served her was so RUDE. I presume that her was the owner of the business as they other man working had a name tag. We were willing to exchange the item for something else but the response and attitude from this man was DISGUSTING. He turned around and slammed his finger on the sign that says something about refunds that you need a magnify glass to read from across the counter saying that he doesn't do refunds because people can't just buy something and change their minds. (it wasn't like that for my mum, it was actually their fault in their first place for selling us the wrong product and it was misfortunate that the person had got one for them self. Whilst treating us with such disrespect he did refund the money but the whole time is was rude and terribly mannered. I generally support local and small businesses but I will make sure that everyone is aware of just how bad this store owner is and treating people with such disrespect is appalling. If he had of been nice about it instead of acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum we would have happily brought something else, instead we went to another electrical store. We will never return this store and hope that nobody is treated like that ever again
