Ha Ha Bar & Dining Room

I was a regular at Ha Ha Bar for the two years I lived in Belconnen, having recently moved to the inner north I still occasionally stop by and indulge in some old favourites. Ha Ha has a modern fun fitout overlooking the lake with plenty of natural light. The staff are friendly, occasionally make mistakes but the food is always fantastic. Ha Ha also uses coffee beans from Lonsdale Street Roasters, being and LSR addict it's great to get quality coffee this side of town.

I had to go to this establishment because of friends holding events there. Every time it's the same; staff are rude and arrogant and very unfriendly.

Dropped in for a take away. Service was fine but coffee weak. Had 3 shots and couldn't taste it. Was smooth not bitter but way too weak for a strong coffee.

We were ignored by staff on entry, having to get the attention of a staff member when they tried to seat people who had arrived five minutes after us. We sat about 30 mins before our orders were taken. We left two hours after this when no food had reached our table nor had any staff member attempted to explain why a salad and a pizza takes two hours to cook. The view is beautiful but you can get it from Zambreros or Hungry Jacks and those places won't jerk you around nearly as much.

Great location but service needs improving. Food can be good, but for some reason they are out of our first choice options most of the time. Would probably fail anywhere else.
