Harbourside Resort

When we originally booked the 2 room unit my husband asked for a reciept to be sent to us and he was rudely told 'no you can have it when you get here'......That really bothered me because what was the difference?? We got there with two young children and I was afraid to lie my child on the floor or the couch because they were filthy and they smelt. The towels were white once upon a time but were now grey and stained with god knows what and the bin was half full when we got there so it made the room smell. One single bed had a spring sticking out of it that stuck into my elderly mothers back all night, there was only half a roll of toilet paper left when we got there, and then the last night we were there (which was after the reception closed so we couldn't complain to their face) my husband moved a lounge chair to reach for something and there was somebody's dirty toenails on the floor!!! I was disgusted!!! I have rated the facilities as very good because there was air con in every room, everything worked well in the kitchen, and the room had everything you needed, BUT the problem lies with the cleaners and they may need to update or replace furniture. Also my eldest daughter is not quite two and there were a total of seven tables in the apartment (side tables included) that were all severely sharp on the corners and not child friendly at all. Because it was school holidays when we went we had to pay top dollar for it and I don't think we got what we paid for to be honest. It may have been somewhere to stay but next time I'll be finding somewhere a little more upmarket, child friendly and CLEAN!!!!! I definately will not be recommending or going back at all.

Lack of customer service. Rude, unwelcoming and unpleasant faces at the reception.

Recently stayed at Harbourside Resort with my family, upon arrival we found the staff to be very helpful and the unit very clean and tidy. The pool and spa were great as was the BBq area and the kids loved the tennis. Also across the road was a lovely parkland, everyday I went walking along the water and the kids really enjoyed the fantastic playground and enclosed swimming area. It was very close to the shops, local club and bus. I would recommend Harbourside and would definitely take the family back again as it was great value for money!
