Had excellent service on phone from Jo in leadup to shop visit. This involved several phone calls from her updating us on type availability. When we went to the store to look at the lounge chairs Jo looked after us. Whats more we were able to buy them at at reduced price to the advertised price. She was so helpful we decided to buy two chairs. We will be back Jo ... well done.

I went into Harvey Norman Balgowlah over the weekend before the financial year to buy a new computer. The computer staff was flat out as you can imagine. However, staff memebers in the computer department acknowledged me. One staff member named sam helped me out. His service was great and extremely patient.Explained everything to me in detail and gave me a great deal. Although he mentioned he was only a casual staff member I recommend Harvey Norman to make him full time. He will definately get my repeat business... Its shocking that most of the reviews seem to be negative. I guess because each section is franchised and hire their staff independently. Thank you Sam.

I agree about the service, in particular, the home entertainment team. We had pretty good service when we were in store, we even received a discount but the customer service since then has been appalling. Between my partner and myself, we contacted the store 6 times, including going in again to hear they still had no information regarding delivery dates (only once did we get a return phone call after I wanted to speak to the manager). When we finally were able to pick the goods up last night, not even an apology from the manager, just a, I can give you this $ figure as a compensation, what else do you expect me to do - ah, how about treat the customer with a bit of respect, that would work. We're the ones that are going to tell our friends and bring back repeat business after all.

One staff member named Gabi went above and beyond to find me the right product, order it in and have it delivered to my house. he is an exceptional staff member and really did shine when compared to the other staff around him. he is professional in both manner and nature. i would recommend Gabi extreemly highly to anyone in need of quality advice and unmatched product knowledge. thank you again Gabi
