Hurricane's Grill & Bar

I love Hurricanes, best ribs ever! Have been to all branches so far. So far Top Ryde is the one I visit alot. The good things - Don't have to queue for hours to get in - I haven't had burnt food from this place yet, I have had burnt food at the Bondi branch - the service is fast - restaurant is bigger so you don't feel cramped. However it can be a bit pricey.

I have been here many times. They have good food and good service. I find that the price is a bit expensive. The environment is nice when you dine outside and not inside however, that is just my preference. Overall it is a good place to dine and worth to try.

First time user of Hurricane. Had heard plenty of positive things so was intrigued as to what could be so excellent. To cut a long story short, the ribs were outstanding, both the beef and pork ones. I also tried their beef burger which was also rather exquisite. Interior is very fancy, with flames flaring up all over the place, plus they have a viewing station for their grill. Quite something really! What lets it down is the cost. A rack of ribs is well over $45, which in my book is terrible value for money. They say they have a secret recipe involving a 12 hour steaming of the ribs prior to grilling, but it's still a lot of $$. Maybe worth going as a treat,

I've always enjoy a good steak and Hurricane's has always delivered. Last night I decided to try something different. For starters we had the Boreworks Sausage, which was surprisingly large. The Prawns main was delicious with the spicy sauce. Definitely recommend the Penfolds bin 28 wine to accompany the meal

Awesome ribs and cocktails. One full rack of ribs is enough for 2 people. My favourite is the pork ribs. Lots of free parking after 6pm and service is very good. Large dining area. Remember to book a table as it gets busy on Fridays and weekends.
