Intown Secondhand

These guys are my favourite secondhand furniture shop. My most recent experience in buying a desk for my bedroom was a successful one and made heaps more pleasant by the great service of the lady behind the counter. She helped me carry my desk to the car - however, it wouldn't fit :(. But then she and the other man in the shop carried it back inside and saved it for me (I had paid!) until whenever I was ready to pick it up, which ended up not being for another week. So if you pay, you can come and pick it up any time. (I ended up getting it delivered to my house in the Waratah area for $25 and the guys came within 5 minutes of when I asked them to, on quite short notice. :)) All through it they were very agreeable and helpful. And the shop has a good range of things all the time. Some pinboards and whiteboard (the type you can hang on your wall, and a free standing one) caught my eye last time I was there. Of course you have to get in quick cos its first in, best dressed for the perfect piece.
