Overall a disappointment. I surprised my wife with dinner at this venue for our wedding anniversary - hopefully, she'll forgive me. We ordered a dozen oysters Kilpatrick as an entrée: Apparently there was a mix up, and the chef thought we had ordered only half-a-dozen. Consequently, six arrived with the promise of another six within 3 minutes. 30 minutes later the remaining six oysters found their way to our table. Despite the delay, the oysters were quite nice. By this time, our wine was almost gone. We then ordered an antipesto (sic) platter for two as a main. The menu stated, "ham, grilled chorizo, battered prawns, grilled flower squid, served with olives, feta ,dips, salad and Turkish bread". When this arrived at the table, we were informed that they were all out of the grilled flower squid. Ironically, we were really looking forward to seeing how this would be presented. The waitress assured us that, in lieu of the absent squid, we would be sufficiently compensated with additional prawns. I dread to think what the prawn quota would be normally. At best there were 3 grilled prawns and 2 prawns wrapped in fried noodle blankets. The selection was varied, but lacking in sufficient quantity to provide enough for two diners. We shared a desert of fruit tart (served with cream and vanilla icecream with Galliano dressing}. The tart looked like it has survived an out-take from the famous kitchen bench scene from American Pie. The wine was delightful, but the venue cannot take credit for that. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly - actually to the point of over-sharing. We discovered more than was appropriate for our brief relationship with them. The decor is very appealing. The prices are reasonable. However, considering the quality/presentation of the food, I don't believe that our experience demonstrated value for money. Sorry Jason, we won't be back.

Was very impressed with this place when we visited a year ago. The decor itself is still gorgeous and the service was still to a high standard however after hearing news of a recent change of ownership, I can't help but feel the menu came up short in variety and quality. Would still give Jason's another go to see if it was an off day :-)

Foods here are amazing! The Black Angus beef ribeye steak served with prosciutto wrapped prawn and scallop skewer, hand cut chips & white wine garlic sauce and the pork belly twice roasted are to die for. Great combination and food presentation. Love the service and the atmosphere as well. Highly recommended!
