We went to Jervis Bay Caravan Park already twice. I would recommend it highly. The location was just perfect for a quite gateway. Planning to go there again some time soon.

From a camper's perspective, this place is quite good. The staff and residents are friendly, and the powered and unpowered sites are all a good size. There is a pool and spa which does appear to be heated (although the spa is the same temp as the pool), which was a big hit with the kids. The BBQ area is also great with four full size hooded BBQ's. The only thing against this place is the lack of other ammenities - the BBQ's could do with a scraper and/or tongs, and it would be good if there was some paper towel for cleaning them. The playground whilst good is very basic and looks like it was built 25+ years ago. The showers have no curtains and the water runs out into the main bathroom, and the camp kitchens are barely more than a laundry with a benchtop, sink, microwave, and basic hotplate - no utensils or cookware to speak of, and very little room in case you need to prepare anything. All in all, it's a good park. Even when they were fully booked the park didn't seem incredibly busy, there's places to park boat trailers and they have a boat ramp/jetty right on premises.

At last, a family owned and operated friendly, quiet van park nestled between the water and bush. Run by Scott and Helen this little oasis has become our annual holiday destination. If you're into boats, you can launch from within the park and leave your boat moored. You can fish from the wharf. The amenities are modern and kept clean, as are the free barbeque facilities. Reception offers a few essentials and ice but withing minutes drive, there are the 2 towns of Huskisson and Vincentia where you can get anything you need. If, like us you are tired of the characterless council owned parks, have a change. Helen and Scott actually care about what they do and the folks that stay with them.
