John Knight Memorial Park

If only people used the bins instead of park cleaners needing to work every morning. Well done act gov but poor job to some others. Lovely creek which children are always playing in

John Knight Memorial Park is one of a number of parks and open spaces that circle Lake Ginninderra which are connected by a b shared bike/walking track. It has excellent bbq/picnic facilities, toilets and kids playgrounds. It's a pretty and well maintained park which is well used by locals on weekends and through the week. Running through the north of the park is a man-made creek which flows down to the lake through a series of ponds. Kids especially love playing in the stream but you do need to watch them at all times (even if they can swim they could slip and hit their head). After very impressive walk around Lake Burley Griffin this is one of the most enjoyable and accessible parks in Canberra.
