I have owned two Mazda's and I have continued to have them serviced with John Newell after my initial experiences with both the cars reliability and John Newells SERVICE staff were outstanding. I have had my cars serviced there for the last 8+ years. I'm not sure its quite as good as it used to be, but at least the focus is still there in the Service area. Over the years I have also recommended the Mazda Brand and the Servicing to family members who have between them bought 4 more Mazdas and had them serviced with John Newell. It is worth noting that NOT ONE of us ended up BUYING any of these six Mazdas through John Newell as their New sales staff have always been outrageously arrogant. Seems so odd to have such a difference in attitude between the Sales and Service staff but we now have many family members with many different experiences all coming to the same conclusion.

I don't usually write reviews but in seeing some here are so different to my experience, I feel I should share mine. We were just thinking about buying a new car but ended up buying a Mazda that same day. The salesman,Vik, was most professional and helpful. I felt no presure to buy but after they were prepared to negotiate the price three times and the car was available that week , we decided to go ahead and buy. We have been very happy with the Mazda CX5 and there have been no issues with the servicing. I went to Newell because my sister bought her car there a couple of years ago and recommended them. I find it hard to believe that others have had such a different experience but If our experience in the future changes, I will be happy to write another review

I purchased a new Mazda at John Newell. I spoke with Ivan on several occasions and he was more than willing to spend time with us and give advice. Each time I stated that I was still looking at other cars, and he was perfectly friendly and did not try to push me into buying at all. On the day of purchase John Newell Mazda matched a price I had received from another dealership and were very friendly throughout the whole process. I realise that there are poor reviews for John Newell Mazda below. They are the exact opposite of what I experienced, and provided the servicing etc. are up to standard over the next few years, I don't see why I wouldn't buy another car from them in the future.

Took my car in for it's pinkslip. Since that would only take an hour I waited in their lounge which had free coffee and free WiFi :). Service was quick, also car was given a wash and clean too. Staff are always friendly and appreciate the offer of a train ticket back to work on previous occasions when I took my car in for a full day service.

GO ELSEWHERE Went to John Newell to look at a CX7. I spoke to the sales guy who didn't listen to what I wanted but just tried to push me into the model he had available there in a nasty colour. I kept saying I was prepared to wait but he was obviously trying to get his monthly commission. I left the dealership and went to Trivett Land Rover (the Freelander was my second choice) and the experience was so different and I put down my deposit. On top of that I got home today to open my mailbox which has a NO ADVERTISING MATERIAL sticker on it to see John Newell's junk mail in there. Clearly these guys are on transmit and not receive. They don't listen and don't care
