Kalimna Woods

What a fabulous place this is!! Being woken up every morning to the sounds of Kookaburra's laughing was delightful. The wood fire gave just that little bit of ambience. The grounds were laid out beautifully and the owners and staff were really nice and friendly. All this and only a short distance to lakes entrance and Bairnsdale and Orbost. I would highly reccomend this place and am definatley going to come back. The only downside or is it a plus? Not very good telepone reception but maybe thats a good thing!!

Great escape place that's a stones throw from beautiful lakes entrance but feels as though you're staying in a secluded forest. Cabins are tastefully decorated and cosy, wood fire heaters are a nice touch to add to the ambience. Proprietors were lovely people and very welcoming. Reasonably priced accommodation and certainly worth a look.
