Been there few times, I wouldn't rave about it - it's Ok. During the week lunch prices are reasonable but you don't get a large selection of dishes. Nevertheless, if you have have a big stomach you can get your money's worth. Dinners are about $40, for that sort of money you can get a 3 course meal at most Chinese restaurants. Ok, for the $40 you get a better & larger selection of dishes. Truth is, one can probably get a similar deal going to a suburban tavern smorgasboard session.

I didn't hear of this place until we stumbled upon it when my partner and I went there a couple of months ago and thought... where are all the buffet restaurants gone to. We noticed that Crown tends to have a sort of turn-around period of restaurants that just didn't seem to last and new things come along. The price per head at this place is so so, still much better than some that I have visited in the area. The decor and hygiene is top notch... very clean and very hospitable with a view of Jeff's shed and the main road. Normally most buffet restaurants, especially those run by Asians... I tend to despise and give really bad ratings of... but this is just fantastic; a mixture of Asians and many cultures as well as good old fashion Aussies in the mix. That's what you want in a buffet. The service is impeccable and what more is there to say. Its sold us and we've been coming back for more. Highly recommendable for any one wanting a average price per head buffet with good quality mix of food. The only negative aspect is that there is a queue, supposedly those with a royalty crown club card you can get in easier through an express queue. However, it would be nice to have some kind of seating arrangement like a few park seats to allow people to sit rather than to wait for lengthy periods at a time to be served. The first time, we were going to leave because my pregnant partner just couldn't stand that long in the queue. Food for thought.

This place is fantastic. Has everything you could want! Family friendly atmosphere, value for money, not to mention a large array of food (including fresh seafood!) and the chocolate fountain is a real treat.
