Kyogle Country Inn

We called ahead and confirmed our booking that afternoon. After a 5 hr drive & arriving at 10pm, they had given our room away after saying room 2 would be open ready as we would be late checking in. It was 11pm before we had settled into accommodation elsewhere.not impressed.

Easter 6th & 7th April 2012. Not too much to choose from when staying in Kyogle. Stayed at Kyogle Country Inn the first motel heading into town. It's only 5 yo so it is in great condition. $105/night internet extra $5/night. Handicap rooms avaialbe not sure if they all are, but room 10 had the shower seat and rails in the bathroom and lots of room. Staff in the reception area were friendly and hospitable. On entering the room it was large and roomy. See photos. Well equipped, ceiling fan, lots of cupboard space, tea/coffee making, fridge with mini bar etc, some austar stations, phone, queen and single bed, single sofa seat, table and chair setting. The bathroom all tiled, very roomy with hairdryer and basic toiletries. Overall a very pleasant stay. We decided to order breakfast and what a breakfast it was. For $11.50 received and enormous plate of scrambled eggs, 4 sausages, grilled tomato, lots bacon and 2 slices toast. They also have a substantial dinner menu including starters, beef, chicken,seafood desserts and alcoholic drinks. Not something you expect to see in a small town. Can't tell what it was like but if it was anything like b/f it should be good. You could easily stay here for a few days as it is extremely comfortable and roomy. If we ever come back to Kyogle we would definitely stay here again.
