My stay at Lavender Berry Farm provided the perfect blend of relaxation and activities for a sneaky weekend getaway. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful natural surrounds, strolled the grounds and picking fresh berries in the garden before indulging in the Cafe's famous fresh berry pancakes. Only a short drive away we spent the afternoon at Big Brooke Dam and conveniently found a winery close by before returning to the Farm to treat ourselves to some of the handmade lavender and berry products – these certainly came in handy for a little bit of pampering in our cosy cabin!

We visited the Lavender Berry Farm last year and had a fantastic time. The Cafe sells amazing pancakes (to die for!) and the scones/soup were delicious. It is the perfect place for kids (big and small) - and there are alpacas to feed and you can even pick your own berries. The rammed earth chalets overlook the lake and it makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Pemberton. I would receommend to stay or just have a visit to the Lavender Berry Farm.

My Husband and I just had the best time down here we came down with friends at the start of November. Our friends have a small child that came along, it was very kid friendly with animals an Alpaca's that we could feed. The Chalets had the best view of the lake and the cafe over on the other side you could smell the lavender which was just beautiful. The best part was the Berry Pancakes over at the cafe they were the BEST pancakes I have ever eaten. The staff were friendly and helpful with anything that we needed we have already put a booking in for next Easter School Holidays we can't wait.

We visited as part of a whirlwind tour of the Pemberton region, primarily as something for the kids to enjoy. Gladly the farm did not disappoint. $2 for alpaca food was well spent, as a multitude of other animals were also happy to consume the tasty treats. The only exception was the miniature ponies (who can't digest the stuff). I did notice the sad state of the berry plantings, without any fruit to pick - despite it being late spring. The cafe had a great selection of feminine knickknacks including perfumed soaps, incense and oils. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken while we were there, however the "tea for two" was a good substitute. Icecreams were good quality and enjoyed. Kids playground was entertaining, as were the adjacent sheep. Just watch out for the alpaca who spits!

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and loved it! The area was beautiful the chalet nice and rustic and cool! The rammed earth chalet was such a beautiful thing to stay in. The BBQ wasn't that great but we didn't need to use it anyways. I loved the space for kids to run and play and the peacefulness of the location to relax at in the evenings. Almost everything was very clean and well maintained. The only thing that wasn't clean and looked rather nasty was the shower curtain. That should be replaced! :) But really, a shower curtain isn't much so this still gets 5 stars (though I would have given it 4.5 if that was an option). I highly recommend this location as a quiet and relaxing getaway.
