We called in for a Friday work lunch. The service was fast and polite. Bought wine by the glass around $8. Good basic selection. We chose to share our main courses. Really enjoyed them all. Lovely crisp and brightly coloured veggies in yummy sauces with a variety of meat / seafood that catered for all. Only about one third of tables taken however poor acoustics made for difficult conversation. Mid range price, with decent size potions. Close to work, wold definitely return.

We picked this restaurant because it had a good review in a well known travel guide. Whoever wrote the review for that guide must have never been to a real Thai restaurant before. Plus it was the noisiest restaurant I've been to in the last 10 years at least (and I eat out 5-6 times a week for dinner). Every Thai restaurant i've ever been to was serene and peaceful. The noise in this place was horrible and made the dining experience so uncomfortable that we couldn't wait to get out of there. The review below about the food not being spicy got that part right however the food was nowhere close to fantastic. It was average at best. When we asked for Nam Prik to kick the spice level up a bit the waitress didn't know what we were asking for and brought some sliced red chilis that had no taste to them whatsoever. The spring rolls tasted like something out of the frozen food section and the peanut sauce was nothing like I've had at dozens of Thai restaurants around the world, and not in a good way. The phad thai we had was average, at best. Very disappointing. There is a trend in Adelaide where some restaurants market themselves as Thai, but really they are catch-all asian restaurants, which means they do, maybe, an average job on all fronts. For example, tempura is on the menu at Lemongrass and while I like tempura, it's not something served at Thai restaurants. There are some really good authentic Thai restaurants in Adelaide, however lemongrass is not one of them.
