This place has been decorated in a theme of Oscar Wilde. It is in a perfect place along one of the Docklands pier and has outside tables to enjoy the weather. I had been wanting to check this place out for a while and was a little disappointed with the experience. We waited over an hour for 5 small plates as they serve share meals (a little like tappas) . The meals were small and given that we had to wait over an hour to get it, we were left hungry and a little frustrated. May have just been that day... so willing to try it again in a while perhaps.

Recently visited this place and it has been recently rennovated and has the best shared plates! We had the son in law eggs and they were to die for! We went on a Sunday and they had live music in the afternoons which we really enjoyed. Look forward to going back and will recommend to friends.

We went on Saturday night for what we hoped we would an enjoyable evening out for a selection of tasty Tapas. We don't live in Melbourne and were going with friends and after googling tapas found this one. It is great to get good, quick service but questionable when the food comes out about 10 minutes after you order it--all at once!!!! We ordered about 10 or 11 dishes--I have been to restaurants in the past for tapas and they bring them out as they are cooked so you can gradually make room on the table for them and get to eat when are fresh and hot. The food wasn't even all hot. I could just picture Gordan Ramsey from his show on Kitchen Nightmares picking through the food and not eating anything. We felt we were being served heated up frozen food or pre-prepared things. The Saganaki--fried cheese with roquette was only warm, not piping hot and the rocket was old--some yellow and even mushy green leaves. The stuff I normally pick out and throw out of the bag at home if I have kept it to long. Not the rocket you serve in a restaurant. The aoili type sauces on a couple of dishes were identical and had that glassy look like it had come from a jar--not freshly made. Overall very disappointing. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get the menu right. They need to prepare the food freshly, not use frozen items and need to make their own sauces from scratch. Even the toasted turkish bread was burnt--probably the only thing hot! It was a little expensive for what it was. The chilli, garlic prawns tapas dish was $12 and the waitress told us we would get 2 prawns for that so did we want to order another one. We ended up not having the prawns. We won't be going back there and our friends are not interested in returning or recommending it to anyone. A shame really. There is a gorgeous Tapas place in Glebe Point road in Sydney or there was a few years ago when we lived there and every dish was amazing. You ordered lots of bread to mop up all the amazing sauces from dishes like mussels and everything came out gradually when it was just cooked. A much better atmosphere and experience.
