Mai Ake Thai

MaiAke Thai in Hobart. Don't eat there. Really. Probably the worst food I have eaten in my life. In fact, I was once persuaded to eat a luke warm sweaty dagwood dog at the Hobart Regatta by a one eyed carny that gave me stomach cramps for two days, and it was better than the meal I had last night. In fact, it was the grossest thing I have had in my mouth all week, and I just got over five days of gastro. In fact, I think I could have eaten a packet of scrabble pieces and crapped a better recipe than their 'Red Duck Curry'. Really, it was that bad. Save your money and spend it on something more fruitful, like scratchies. Don't eat at MaiAke Thai.

Great thai food, friendly staff, a little bit expensive but worth it

Flavourless stir fry. Duck salad was luvaduck bag stuff. Unimginative and not trying hard enough. And expensive.

We were very impressed with the quality of food here 6/6/09. The staff are very attentive and food of high quality. Recommend to anyone who appreciates authetic thai food.
