Very friendly staff. Nice, clean and modern rooms. Room had a washing machine and a dryer!

Too expensive for what you get no privacy with the cleaners kids always running around and using the pool felt like I was staying at a commune

For many locals the Oasis apartments is the pinnacle for accommodation here in Port Augusta ...but expensive $$$! Don't expect to pay less then $100 or more a night while staying here, if you can afford! I often come across tourists who seek advice on affordable Accommodation in Port Augusta The Majestic Oasis Apartments is usually the last one i mention if not at all, depending on the needs of the person asking! As the saying goes "You get what you pay for" and the Oasis definitely has all the bells & whistles of fine accommodations but not your only option! I would suggest a few Hotels/Motels located in Port Augusta for the budget conscious! i highly recommend Standpipe Hotel very large Hotel open area pool, golf course & restaurant facilities available single rooms/double/Deluxe Suites"very nice" excellence staff! affordable pricing! Also you will find that Port Augusta plays host to many pubs that offer accommodation, also prices vary from pub to pub! Pub Staff have more local knowledge of this region then most locals.. so take advantage of this. They can usually give you good advice were to eat, shop and sleep! if your not sleeping at there hotel they will usually point you in the right direction!
