Mansion Hotel & Spa at Werribee Park

My partner and I went to Werribee Park Mansion Hotel and Spa for his birthday and we were both blown away by our stay. We stayed in the suite (King bed + spa bath) and the room was immaculate! The was bed very comfortable and the room very modern. the bath was amazing and well worth the upgrade. We ordered room service as the restaurant didn't cater to our taste in food (we're more steak and chips type people) and the burgers delivered to our room were delicious. We spent a lot of time in the pool, spa and sauna and exploring the beautiful grounds. The service was great and breakfast was unbeatable. We will definitely be back again!

A truly beautiful weekend... We had a romantic getaway in mind, and our stay was everything we'd hoped for and more! Our room was beautiful, the staff were wonderful, the restaurant was absolutely outstanding, and the whole setting was a breathtaking experience.

Had a gorgeous time! Felt welcomed and looked after from the word go. 6 girlfriends (30-60years) for a pampering weekend, gorgeous lunch, fascinating wander through the historic mansion. I had no idea it was going to be so interesting and BEAUTIFUL! Great menu for a beautiful dinner - George the head waiter was AMAZING! Peaceful slumber in well appointed, stylish but comfy rooms. Beautiful gardens. Fabulous spa treatment. Totally wonderful weekend away. Didn't even have time to visit the zoo or the rose gardens. August is a great time - have the gardens to ourselves. Been to quite a few similar places who have promised but not delivered - this one DELIVERED big time. Would definitely go back!

Booked my partner and myself in for a romantic weekend to celebrate his 30th birthday. It was a surprise. Called to confirm my booking during the week and quoted my gift voucher number. Was told everything would be fine and 'all existing bookings made with a Sofitel voucher would be honoured' despite the hotel being taken over by Lancemore. I booked in May. Hotel was taken over in June. Not my problem. Got there and the surly Manager told me we couldn't use our voucher. I said I had confirmed all arrangments with her staff on FOUR occasions and was told that the booking would be honoured. The staff were rude and treated us like second class citizens. We are both successful professionals. Irrespective, all customers should be treated with respect. If their staff messes up and gives incorrect information to customers, it is not the customers problem. As a result of their poor treatment, my fiances birthday weekend was ruined. I will never set foot at the Mansion again and encourage others not to. Terrrible!
