Matterhorn Ski Lodge

Stayed there twice already. Both lengthy stays. Awesome food and friendly staff.

My first trip to Perisher was memorable since it was for my 40th Birthday. I had never been out skiing until this point and really didn't know what to expect. The instructors were all really nice and took the time to show me everything I needed for a beginner's run. My frist attempts were less than favorable but I was constantly encouraged and made it down one hill unharmed. Afterwards, I took a soak in the large jacuzzi style tub and got together with friends for drinks by a nice fireplace. I had a great time and would love to plan a trip for next year.

Our youth group stayed in the Matterhorn Lodge for a 3 night stay and found it to be a great experience. We stayed 4-6 to a room and found it comfortable though at times a bit crowded when everyone was trying to get ready in the morning. Breakfasts were regular simple buffet style while dinners were nice for the course meals. At night we relaxed in the lounge area and even played some quiet games by the fire. Overall, everyone in the group had a wonderful experience and we hope to visit again soon.

We enjoyed our holiday from last December when we stayed in the family chalet at the Stables Apartments. I thought it was going to be a tight fit for us but it turned out to be quite spacious with two floors and even a nice little warm fireplace to sit around. Since our family is split down the middle for skiing, it was still a nice stay in the mini chalet, particularly with the bar and lounge by the fire. The rest of the family enjoyed the ski conditions and cross-country sights, which is why we barely saw them during the days!

I took my chlidren to Perisher Blue for one of our annual family ski holidays and we all loved it there. I was lucky enough to get a few days off this season so I decided to look for a place to stay. I finally settled on the Corroboree Lodge which was pretty good. Like any other lodge, it had a nice inviting feeling with a lounge and fireplace to relax by. The kids enjoyed indoor play as much as outdoors, so I got a chance to kick back while they amused themselves. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the service and friendly atmosphere, it's just a shame some of the guests were a little too noisy at times for a totally relaxing time.
