McDonald's, Windsor Road, Windsor

Before I commence, I have tried to contact this particular McDonalds at McGraths Hill at phone 45776777, has rung out both times unfortunately, if they had answered, I probably wouldn't be typing this review now.....ph'd 8th Feb 09 @ 1205 and 1215hrs. With regards to last night, 2300hrs after finishing a pm shift with a private hospital, albeit no meal break, I usually endeavoured to make a pit stop at McDonalds, McGraths Hill. My favourite being filet fish and small chips, I ordered same, after previous "cold" & "slightly warm" offerings on previous occasions, (having driven too far to return them, and the fact that I was ravenous).. I indulged in immediately starting to consume the french fries, cold..I could not eat them, got out of the car and proceeded to the window hence I received them, whilst there, I pulled out of the bag the filet fish, this also was cold... this was not my night! The sales assistant closed mouth just took my bag, and stated these would take another 3 1/2 minutes. I said I was more than happy to wait, and was directed to the parking area to wait for my order. Whilst I was waiting for my order, I was talking with a friend who had also had the same experience at this particular McDonalds... needless to say I was not surprised! What SHOCKED me next is something I will never forget! Two chips were hot and crispy, the others soft, mushy and wilting, barely warm, did they recook the chips or perhaps placed in the microwave and reheated instead? The same with the filet fish, the outside of the cardboard container was extremely hot, as was the burger, within 7 minutes the burger was stone cold and HARD, was this reheated also in the microwave? I still have the remainders of the chips and all of the filet fish burger. What a let down.....
