Good people. I have gone there over the years and despite the state of the store they usually have what I want. And I don't have to suffer the idiots at the chain stores either. Oh, and it's near a pub. And a bus stop.

The couple who are running this place are so sweet and nice. The prices are very low, I found it very good in term of price.

This is an absolutely charming mom and pop store of the old variety. The shopkeepers are extremely helpful.

I live right near this shop and am always popping in for odds and ends and they are super nice and occassionally give me a washer and screw cost free. It's run by a lovely older couple and they've crammed as much into this shop as possible. I agree with the other reviewer that there are some older products on the shelves, but I think it's part of the charm. They have all the necessities. This is a real hardware shop.

If your house has a lit of fittings, and the general look of an 80'd house, then this is the place for you! Doesnt look like they have restocked since the 80's - not really worth the time, unless you need a washer or some screws - other then that its pretty limited.
