Morningside Family Care Medical Centre

Can't fault this centre, super friendly efficient reception staff, always obliging and in this day & age good to be able to see the Dr of your choice.Online booking is a time saving bonus, so is the mixed billing. DONT get confused with the other abysmal centre with a similar name. The Dr's here are super.

Compared to the other 2 medical practices in the Morningside area, this medical center is small and you don't have to wait for ages in a room full of sick people, as they have masks on hand or you can sit comfortably outside in the fresh air. If you are rarely sick and just need the occasional script written out, these doctors are perfectly fine for that. But if you need an ongoing, sympathetic relationship with a female doctor, I can say that at least one of them at this practice should be avoided for your own welfare!. After a couple of visits, she will shove her values down your throat, berrate you for your economic situation if you're having a rough time & give inappropriate lectures based on assuming you are a low life. She was also extremely dismissive of serious medical symptoms i was experiencing. I had to switch to a medical pracitice in the city to get the treatment I needed, and they were fantastic by comparison. Also, the city clinic bulk bills, unlike these guys.

Having had a number of experiences at each, I can say that the bad reviews for this practice do seem out of place, but would, however correlate to my personal experience at the colmslie central- ie near woolies, practice and i will never return............... these guys on the other hand do a great job!!!!! :-)

I agree - there is no way that these bad reviews are for this medical centre. The people posting them must be getting confused with the medical centre at Morningside central - very similar name.

I think some of these reviews are for the morningside family medical centre at the morningside woolies, not the morningside family care medical centre at thynne road. I recognise the doctors, they are at the woolies one. I've always found the doctors here great. You can usually get an apointment and the doctors Ive been to see here have been good.
