Nero's is one of the regular restaurants for my husband and I. The food is simple but good, and we rarely have any problems. Once we ordered chicken and it was overcooked, but ordering the same dish later it was never repeated. I've always found the service to be excellent, and I enjoy the ambiance as it always seems very family friendly and relaxed.

Not value for money, expect high quality for what they charge. They told us whilst we were still eating desert that we needed to leave as it was closing time!!! Mousse is packet desert. Chips perfect. Salad contained old soggy tomatoes and soaked in dressing. Lasagne flavoursome. Steak thin and chewy like sandwich steak. Yummy icecream. Very disappointed overall.

Very average food. My partner & are regulars as its convenient and cheap. Some of the menu items are okay but nothing special. It is quite simple and bland. Have had all round very good service, except being told I had to pay extra for parm cheese for takeaway as its "different" to dine in. (does not make much sense to me) The menu needs a make over, and a more authentic Italian approach. The place has potential but it seems as though they "cant be bothered". This place would make a killing if they improved the menu and food quality. As there is no other local Italian food.

We went with a big group (20 or so) and I hate Itallian so bad start admittedly. My steak (though requested medium) was hard enough to hammer a nail into a wall. In fact there wasn't many who really enjoyed their meals at all. The service was friendly but it no way made up for the appaling meals. Highlight of the night: We were all able to pay seperately.

Having had a baby 6 months ago we haven't been able to come out to Nero's to enjoy a meal. We finally had a chance to come out for dinner and we chose an old favourite, being Nero's in Gosnells. It was a shame to find that as soon as we walked through the door the whole atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant was non existent. In my opinion this would be for a a few reasons. First being the amount of lighting. There was too much light, which had ruined the nice romantic evening planned. Upon sitting down I requested with the waitress if it was possible to have the lights dimmed etc and I mentioned how the ambiance was not the same as it once was. I was then informed that because there is new owners there policy is to have the lights blaring. I requested that the waitress still check if the lights could be dimmed. She said she will ask. This brings me to my second reason. Lack of Customer Service. I waited the rest of the night for this waitress to come and address the queries I had expressed. Instead the matter was ignored and we were issued another waiter. I have worked in customer service roles before and I know how frustrating and rude no answer can be to a customer. If the answer was no to dimming the lights all that needed to happen was that I was not ignored and an answer given. Food was not up to scratch, whether it was the entree which was over cooked. ( how can sausage be over cooked ? I don't know but it was. ) My wife ordered surf and turf, she ordered Medium and got Well Done, she consequently did not eat it at all. Overall the service, food and ambiance was not up to scratch and we will not be visiting the restaurant whilst the current owners are in charge. We would have had more ambiance, customer service and better food at McDonalds, and that should be saying something. Not impressed with your restaurant or service.
