North Ringwood Medical Centre

Although I've only attended the clinic for a short time and seen one doctor, I've found the receptionists to be exceptionally friendly and helpful and the wait times short. The one nurse I saw was absolutely wonderful; very friendly and informative without being patronising. The reception area is sometimes busy, very clean and pleasant with reading material and a fish tank, and plenty of space for those who need it. There's also a pathology centre on site so if you have to have blood tests you can get them done immediately. My doctor, Dr. Fryer, has been really wonderful - I have a repeat script and can call up for her to write that for me to pick up, without having to book an appointment. She has been happy to write referrals or fax them off outside of appointments (as long as I've planned ahead to have them written up). I plan to keep NRMC as my clinic, and as I'm pregnant, that for my child. I often see young children in the clinic, and coming out of the nurse's office, and it seems like a very good family clinic. I strongly recommend them.
