NO CHRISTMAS CHEER HERE !!!. I placed an order for a lobster via phone to this establishment several days ago.I was clearly quoted a price of $70 / kilo,which I accepted. In the line of work I am in, I require and use, a digital scale for precise weights, This scale is regularly tested to be accurate to the gram. I picked up the lobster (which was packaged already with the total price attached) and returned home where I weighed it. It was 2 1 1 grams underweight at the quoted price of $70 / kilo. I did my sums and the result was that I was charged at an equivalent rate of $81 / kilo. Such businesses as this, Willaston - Northern Seafood and Game, are required to have ACCURATE scales of weight. The end result was that I paid $15 more than I should of. Needless to say, this rip-off left a bad taste in my mouth and some diminished Christmas cheer to boot. I won't be revisiting these premises again.

This place is weirdly hit-and-miss. You go in, and depending on who serves you, you can have an amazing, friendly experience, or people who couldn't care less. I just phoned them to ask about getting a particular type of fish - and got told, and I quote: 'It's Christmas time, we don't have time to buggarize [sic] around with stuff like that'. Did I miss something? Are you a seafood shop, or what? If it's hard to get, just say so - but don't talk to me like I'm an idiot for even asking. The selection of food is great, but customer service can be horrible.
