Oliver Hire

I would definitely not recommend Oliver party hire. They assured me they had what I needed only to find on the day when my husband went to pick up the marquees, they did not in fact have what we needed, and we had to make do with what they could come up with at the last minute. I rang up to ask where the mix up had been and that I was not happy with the service but I couldn't finish as Tim hang up the phone in ear - twice! Tim had told me on the phone initially that if we could not drop off the hired goods in the next couple of days he would organise pick up. He failed to mention that we had to pay for pick up. We left the marquees on our front verandah for them to pick up. They not only took their marquees but also a box that belonged to us from our front verandah. Tim, very poor poor service, I will not be using your party hire place again and I do not recommend anyone else use the too. Not only was this poor service but you were also very very rude.

Hi Tim and Sue, thanks ever so much for helping us with my wifes birthday party. Everything was simple through you guys, the tables, chairs and cloths were all as described and we had a wonderful time. I'll need a marquee in January for an Australia Day BBQ and will definitely be in touch to sort that out. I can definitely recommend you to anyone needing stuff for a party. Cheers,

I am a local caterer and I have been using Oliver Hire for over 5 years. Their products are always top class and they are always looking at buying the best products. If I needed anything different Tim or Sue would try and find it for me. They go out of their way to help, as they have a lot of contacts and the industry is very friendly. They have opened the gates after hours when requested and in emergencies.

Olivers Hire is crap. They have continually dissappointed. They never get the order right, always delivering the wrong items and they don't care about helping you when it all goes wrong. Organising a community cricket presentation in Mosman recently and they failed to deliver the cordial tube, when I rang up the owner of the company Tim Oliver told me over the phone that 'he doesn't care!!!! ' Their products are as cheap as their service. Don't use Olivers Hire !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
