Omage Restaurant

Wow. We've been here before just after the restaurant came under new management and it was ok. Today was truly exceptional! It is on the more expensive side with entrees coming in generally over $20 and mains over $30 but this would be the absolute best meal I've had since dining at est. which is double the price. I had the swordfish for entrée and was pleasantly surprised to find swordfish sashimi with lemon candy and what was described as a ball of avocado icecream. Wow! Together all the elements were brilliant. For main, the confusingly named slow cooked lamb shoulder with a crispy skin. Again just brilliant, the lamb was so tender yet at the same time it was wrapped in what almost looked like a crispy crepe which gave the lamb a really nice lift. We'll definitely be back again.
