PC MEAL

As a reseller myself, I purchased a product to sell on to my customer. It was covered by a 3 Year Warranty , however, after having the card for only a short period of time, the card failed on the customer. It was still well within it's warranty period but according to PC Meal, because I purchased the product from them more than 12 months ago it's not their problem. Interesting since it's a RTB warranty. No matter what I said, they argued that it was not their problem and that I needed to contact the manufacturer who ironically does not have any Australian contacts. In the end I had to ring around distributors of the product in Australia and was able to find out who their distributor was, no thanks to them. Thankfully now the distributor is helping me with the warranty claim from my customer but even they spoke to PC Meal who still did not wish to comply. What's the point of buying a product with warranty if the reseller is not going to help you. My advice to you - STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. ALL THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT IS LINING THEIR POCKETS WITH MONEY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OF NO PRIORITY TO THEM.

I am very happy with this business, I brought a computer 3 months ago, the motherboard had problems which was replaced with no complaints and in a reasonable time.

Be careful the price could be expensive when there is a sale on store. Netgear Stora is $50+expensive here in comparison to JB hi-fi.

I can't believe how bad the services and products were. They would blame their customers if the products are defected or damaged, instead of providing a reasonable solution nor explanation. Would not purchase any other items from these rude people. Nor will I recommend anyone to this poor level of service.

Buyer Beware. I ordered a Hard Drive off these guys 10 days ago. The website said the model was 'in stock'. After a long wait, and after they ignored my email for information I rang them and they apologised as the item wasn't in stock after all. Despite this, they have already charged my credit card. To matters worse, they can't tell me when the hard drive (a western digital) will be back in stock.
