Simply lack of basic services, Way too overpriced and simply not worthy to call an international airport... Authorities please go to the Changi or KL airport...and see the difference... Dont have many words as you can see from other guys here... and yeah even trolley is not free.. it will cost you 4 dollars.. Such a shame! a pure rip off for everything! Less facilities than a third world country airport..

We arrived at Perth International at 5.00am and were swiftly and pleasantly passed through immigration and customs. That was the last of the good experience. Outside there was a howling gale with lashing rain we were horrified to realise that when our pickup contact arrived we would be forced to load the car in the completely uncovered pick up lane. When the car arrived we ran to it but because the car had not come to the very end of the lane we were abused by a Gestapo type in a yellow jacket. It did not matter to him that there were no other cars coming into the lane, it appeared that he simply wanted to exercise his authority over middle aged Australians! If this is the first impression for overseas visitors then WA's tourism is doomed. Disgraceful to say the least.

5+dollars for 600mls of water? Free internet hopelessly slow. Place is a buliding site. T2 is miles away, so if like me you have 2 large bags u have to hire a 4$ trolley to get to the transfer bus then potentially another to get to the check out counter at the other end. Shopping limited customs was quick, friendly and efficient thou. It will probably be ok after the expansion has finished

I somewhat agree with the previous comments, there isn't anything at the airport, its not exactly a shopping experience and I have been known to collect food on the way out there rather than pay for an over priced sandwich, however I do l like that it is small as once you go through customs you take a few steps and your outside - no need to walk for ages with luggage to get out of the building.

Wow what a welcome to international travellers and even just folks from interstate. I have seen and experienced many international airports around the world and within Australia and this is by far the worst. There are next to no facilities, and the ones that are there are shockingly bad and overpriced, they don't even have a parking garage... in 2013, this is a city of nearly 2 million, the state capital, ground zero of a "booming economy" and this is its gateway. Are the airport owners just incredibly lazy or just stupid? Where does the money go? There is simply no excuse for facilities like this in a first world country in 2013. I first travelled here from Melbourne and it was like travelling to a different country, or maybe 50 years back in time. Great way to welcome newcomers and tourists.
