I cannot imagine how a a pet store can think it is appropriate to sell puppies and kittens from puppy farms. The sooner they are prevented from doing this the better.

This store is quite small and has very limited stock. They usually have a variety of live animals for sale including puppies, guinea pigs, rats and fish. However some of the animals are kept in pretty bad conditions. As a case in point when I went there recently there were a young puppy that was listless and had a very bloated tummy. They also had a small cage which contained two rats and a mouse, even though it is common knowledge that rats are natural predators of mice and can easily kill mice even if they have been housed together for a long time. Give this store a miss, there are many better and bigger Pets Paradise in Belconnen and in Fyshwick. The owners of this store do not seem to care at all about the welfare of their animals!
