Pippi's At The Point Hotel

Today (21 November 13) we had a family gathering of 11 adults at Pippis Restaurant. My chips arrived barely warm so I sent the plate back. When returned it appeared that it had just been popped into a microwave. The flathead was similarly cool. Only 3 diners noted their meals to be hot. Everyone else had similar cool food and consequently lots of it remained on the plates when they were collected. Pippis should hire a genuine chef and invest in some large ovens. A pathetic waste of money!

Worst meal I have ever had. We had our daughters wedding here and it was great. Went for a simple lunch it was so bad I couldn't eat it. Overpriced and very ordinary

Hotel = 7. Food = 7. Staff = 6. Rooms = minus the noise of the passing traffic I would have rated the rooms with a 8 but unfortunately you hear passing traffic all night so it gets a 5. All in all if your just passing through and want a place to stay for a night you cant beat the price but make sure you ask for an off street room so you dont get the noise unless you fall asleep 5 minutes after you hit the bed.
