Plaka Greek Restaurant

Great Greek food. (coming from a Greek person) Meat was cooked to perfection. Service was great. Yes, we had to wait a bit, But it was a full restaurant for a Thursday night. Overall, a success. Kudos to the establishment.

Atrocious service, mains took over an 1hr and 30mins to arrive. During the wait we were not offered a drink or even a voluntary apology. Every time we queried a staff member on the length of the wait, we were told the kitchen was busy and it was our fault for selecting their establishment on such a busy night.Do yourself a favour, save your money and visit one of the many other fantastic greek restaurants in the area.

Great place, love the food and the staff are great. These guys really care about what they serve. Just organised a 30th birthday for my wife, and the owner was great to deal with. Can't wait for the big night!

The staff were friendly enough but the service was atrocious. We had to wait an hour and a half for our main meal to be served. When we asked why we were having to wait so long, the waitress told us it was because the kitchen was busy!! The food was OK, but nothing outstanding. There are many other greek restaurants around Melbourne so you'd be wise to go spend your money with them instead.

Had a very enjoyable meal at Plaka. It was a quiet night, so the service was superfast and friendly, and the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant and it was spacious so no pushing past other diners and squeezing between tables.
