On a busy stretch of road that connects Kogarah to Brighton Beach is an equally busy fruit and vegetable stand that is one of my favourite places to shop when I dont have time to visit the markets. This small shop packs as much produce into its narrow isles as possible as well as a bargain area on the outside of the shop where they stock all their major specials. As well as fruit and vegetable they also have sell european dry goods as well as good selection of breads, cheeses and frozen goods. The produce is fresh and the shelves are always well stocked with the sound of the forklift buzzing around the small car-park moving pallets of goods reading them for sale. Parking can be difficult here, with curb-side parking usually taken up. There is a tiny little car-park at the back of the store, but I find if I circle a few times, a roadside park becomes available. Im always so happy when I leave President Ave fruit world with my trolley brimming with fresh beetroot, apples, bunches of herbs and sweet pineapples which has cost me a fraction of the cost compared with other vegetable shops in the city. This place is GREAT!
