We celebrated Birthday Party there. $60.00 per person includes EVERYTHING, even corkage! Just bring your own booze. Food was in abundance, we just could not eat it all! 15 courses! Overall, food was very good, I just did not like prawns on skewers with rice. All other dishes (14 of them!) were delicious! Live band was playing great music. We had awesome time dancing away past 01:00AM. So happy! Thank you guys!

Overall okay, though a bit expensive and they make money on functions ($130 per person) but generally, for a party, it's fine.

A complete ripoff at $130 per head. I went to this Restaurant on New Years eve, expecting to experience traditional russian food and celebrations for the new year. The food was very poor and except for a bit of caviar, not particularly russian. I was also very disappointed to find there was not enough food to go around the table and we had to wait ages between courses. The only thing good about this place was the band.

I invited my English partner to the Russian restaurant Rasputin to introduce him to amazing Russian food and music… We paid $130 each for a New Year night celebration. We were seated at a table with 11 other strangers, but it was OK as we were warned about it before booking the table. What they didn't tell us is that if we come a few minutes late we can observe the shells of the only two lobsters in the middle of the table eaten by others by the time we arrived or 5-6 pieces of ducks pieces on a big plate to share between 13 of us. The Rasputin website stated: “Rasputin Restaurant is set in a traditional Russian atmosphere that serves up a storm of traditional home made Russian cuisine.” Very misleading. 60% of the food was low quality and if you expect traditional Russian New Year salads and special food like pelmeni … you better cook at home, because we had none. We did get one small varenik with potato (similar to dumplings) each and it is not a joke. We would have left early, but we really wanted to try some Russian cakes. You wouldn't believe. They served stodgy chocolate cake which tasted like cheap cakes from the supermarkets. Coffee was a final and complete disaster. Don't waste your money and don't invite your English friends if you don't want to leave red faced.

Kitch, but in a good way. Authentic according to the Russians at our table. copious vodka shots probably make this review irrelevant anyway. worth visiting for the cheese pancakes and mince donuts. and lots of other specialty items.
