Expensive but very good food. All of my companions expressed surprise at the freshness of the food that they ordered. Has a vegan menu (on request) that was excellent, if limited. Vegan dessert was amazing!

Great place to eat, but definitely on the expensive side for what you get. Food is always well prepared and delicious however, so overall worth a visit once in a while.

Had my baby-shower here a few weeks ago. Service was ordinary, had to wait for a long time to be seated even though we had a table booked, eventually made our own way to our table....Waitress was confused at first (then became rude) about what to do with my friends pram, even though my friend pre-warned them weeks before that there could be up to 5 prams on the day (there was only 1), the situation was handled poorly. The worst bit was the bathrooms though, is smelled very very bad, not acceptable really and I agree with the comments below about the expensive prices.

Awesome venue, whether it be the delicious food in the restaurant, great range of quality gifts in the gift store or expert advice in the garden section. Love doing lunch at Rivers whether it's raining or the sun is shining. Christine (Mernda)
