I have been using Rob's Auto Elec for more than 10 years and two cars. Always courteous and attentive to detail. We do remote area work and need to rely on our vehicle 100%. Never had a problem.

I had an awesome experience. Don't know what the first reviewer is talking about. I got a quote to fix my faulty indicator stalk (which played havoc with my tail lights) from a nearby mechanic who quoted over $300. Rob's quote was $240. Not only was the price so much better, he got my vehicle in immediately, took the time to explain to me what the fault was, and was flexible in allowing an early drop off and late pick up to work around my timetable. Very genuine guy. I was happy (as one could possibly be) handing over $240 for a quick, thorough job, with genuine Toyota parts. Would not hesitate to take my car back to Rob's.

Terrible experience, My car had a blown headlight, and it was making weird actions when I turn on the wiper, sometimes horn will sound, and lights go dim, so I took it to Brunswick, Bob's, they held my car for 3 days, I turned up, the owner, guy with glasses, had no clue, no idea why it's happening, explained to me might be high pressure washing causing it, so I start the car, it happened again! so, he jumped in, played around with the ignition, but couldn't find out why it's happening, and gave up, telling me it will cost a lot more to examine it further, a lot of work needs to be done looks like to me my car wasn't touched or examined in 3 days, so I said no, I will take it back to dealer, so he charged me $50, for the "work" which he did, what a load of crap, he did nothing, no examination, wanted more money, couldn't tell what's going on. so a week later, I took it to another mechanic, he found out the problem with in 5 seconds, after examining the voltage, it was low, he said to me somewhere in the car, a wire has melted and touching the ground body of the car, after 1 minute, he found it was touching the muffler, rear tail light cable has melted, 2 more mins, he fixed it, taped it up and zip tied it for me, charged me $22 including GST ok. basically, rob's has no clue in what he is doing, and charge you for work they didn't do, and want to charge you more, like $500 for a $22 job
