Used to go every weekend for breakfast till the thick toast turned into thin sour dough the sausage turned into chipalatas and the price went up by $5.00 per person. We are two adults and two kids off to Beaumont street to spend my money.

Basically this is the opinion of the owner and their distain for anybody who questions them about their "awarded" restuarant. Not enough staff so poor service. Not enough glassware so no wine. The food is over rated and too expensive for what you get. Find somewhere else this is not a pleasant experience. You have been warned!

Rang on a Tuesday to make a booking for a Friday lunch for 6 people. Was told "we are booked out okay" and then she hung up. I rang back to say I was enquiring about lunch not dinner. Response " Yes I told you were are booked out". "How far in advance do I need to phone for a booking?" I asked. Two weeks I was told. So apparently a great little spot for lunch as long as you book 2 weeks in advance and you are willing to put up with the surly phone manner. No thanks.
