DO NOT SEND YOUR PETS HERE., I sent my 5month old chocolate labrador here for boarding (2 weeks). He came home covered in bites, scratches and cuts and a week later a huge abscess developed on his back from a dog bite. he needed an operation and two thousand dollars worth of treatment. This place is KNOWN by the RSPCA - however the legislation cannot help people in my situation. It covers this awful excuse for a pet kennel. The owner LIED to everyone about what happened. I will never, ever go near this place again.

Absolutely Disgusting Service! IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE THEM TO RYDGES! I have taken my poodle x maltese to Rydges twice for a clip and wash and both times have been treated poorly by the staff. I booked my lil man in for a de-matting treatment as he has woolen type hair and it is unmanagable, the staff threatened me saying that 'i was lucky they didn't report me to the RSPCA for neglect' due to the condition of his matted coat! This is a dog that is showered with love, sleeps in my bed with me and has walks and play dates all week long. He was booked in for the de-matting service! Of course his hair is going to be matted! Extremely offended and disgusted by the way i was spoken to. Not only were the staff rude to me, my poor lil dog wouldn't remove his tail from between his legs or leave my side for 3 days each time he returned home, if he couldn't be under my feet he was hiding behind a couch or under a pillow. A traumatic experience for both me and my dog. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE THEM TO RYDGES!

EXCELLENT BOARDING AND GROOMING SERVICES HERE! I have been taking my 3 poodles to Rydges Pet Resort for more than three years now and have only ever experienced great service, great advice and excellent treatment from everyone there. The people at Rydges actually care about the animals that are brought into them and offer honest opinions on how owners can improve the way they care for their pets. I would recommend Rydges to any animal lover for any of the services they offer!! 5 Stars for Service, 5 Stars for Grooming, 5 Stars for Boarding!! All available in Brisbane areas!

EXCELLENR SERVICE I have been taking my 3 Maltese to Rydges Pet Resort for years now and I have NO COMPLATS about the service I get there, the dogs are happy to go there and happy when I pick them up. they are all groom just how I like them. When they have given my abvice on what I feed them or how I groom at home I have taken there abvice on board as they are looking after aminals all the time and know what talking about. My 3 Maltese were there for 4 MONTHS LAST YEAR AND I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPER WITH THE WAY THEY WERE LOOK AFTER. I have found that Maragret and the staff are very good at what they are doing with the anamils and that my dogs are very happy there. Thank you to Maragret and staff for a job well done and the 3 girls will be see you all soon for the school holidays in September. Shelley

It looks ok. A big auto gate on the drive with a shiny Harley, well kept and modern with many reassurances from the staff, but this isn't what makes good service. My 7 month old Whippet came with a coat which is a breed specific requirement for winter nights as I informed them. The coat was damaged and not returned. Different staff gave different accounts of when and how that happened but it is my belief that he spent more than one cold night out of eight without it. His collar and tags had large teeth marks and the buckle was broken. An extra charge for the compulsory hydro bath was not explained in the initial quote. When I rang to sort these things I was told to "stand by" for a return call. When I rang back the staff was rude so I hung up. I was then treated to two follow up abusive phone calls. Nice one Ridges!
