3/3 Saffron Cottage was an EXCELLENT venue with the most exquisite & varied Indian cuisine served to you by their exceptionally well trained, polite & friendly staff. The view from the rear of this restaurant was nothing short of spectacular, showing off part of what makes up the magnificent Dandenong Ranges. :'( Sadly, Nikki, the owner of Saffron Cottage, was forced to close its doors for the last time in April. We (No Maccas In The Hills) have been in a long almost 3yr battle to save our beautiful Dandenong Ranges, Tecoma & this historical building from the tyranny that is...... McDONALDS!!!! >:(

2.67/3 The food here is excellent, staff are just lovely! I feel that the amount you pay is reasonable for the pleasant service and delicious food at this place. A real favourite of mine! :)
