Its a really good restaurant, if you really like Shanghainese food, you should really go have a look since Ashfield have a lot of Shanghainese food. But I really like this Shanghai restaurant, they have probably the best xiaolongbao. its really worth a try. They have also recently got a new renovation and they make all their buns fresh in front of you. If you really want to find a place for shanghainese food, you should try this place, they are cheap and have pretty decent food. For a normal meal, it would probably cost you around $15-20 for a meal.

If you like the Xiaolong bum, this is a nice place to try, but you need a bit patience to be guided for seat, the place is always full house, maybe try upstairs. it is good for money as well.

Cheap, hot and dirty, just what a Chinese restaurant should be! I dream about their xiao long bao (小笼包) and sheng jian bao (生煎包). Hot, soupy and just beautiful. Always crowded (with Chinese people!), and for good reason.

Cheap prices for really good food! it's a very basic restaurant that serves really really good food! If you pick the right night there is an amazing atmosphere as the owner loves to come to the tables and have a chat with everyone. Try the Dumplings, they're the best in Ashfield!

Cheaper than Din Tai Fung, but still a good fix for dumplings. The skins are rougher and dough-ier. Easy to get to, and plenty of street parking. The pan fried buns are great, their base are nice and crispy.
